Custom Synchronized & Solo Skating Apparel

Since 2002, Hazel Matthys has been committed to delivering expertly crafted, beautiful garments for her clients. She believes a well-planned custom garment can enhance your confidence and be “an investment piece that will last a lifetime.” Hazel and her team will work with you throughout the design process providing you with every option while maintaining your budget and making informed decisions about your design. We want to establish a friendly, professional relationship based on personal attention, great fit and craftsmanship.

 

Design Process

Consultation (9-12 weeks prior to customers scheduled due date)

During this time you will discuss your budget, ideas, and dreams for your garment. Hazel will make suggestions and/or recommendations according to your needs and will begin the design process.

Design and Estimate (8 weeks prior to customers scheduled due date)

Presenting you with sketches, fabric, trim, and stone options Hazel will discuss the looks with you. Upon finalizing your design (complete with fabric and trims) we will provide an estimate. Any new ideas, feedback or concerns should be discussed during this time, as we are finalizing the total cost per garment. Once your design is complete, 50% deposit is required to begin the prototype/sample process. When the garment or group is ready for pick up the remaining balance is due.

Prototype and Size Selection (5-6 weeks prior to customers scheduled due date)

At this time you will be given a prototype of your design. Please review this prototype for any changes necessary (note: any major design changes can be subject to additional charges) prior to production. We will ask you to provide basic measurements necessary for sizing and our expert team will determine the sizes needed for each individual.

Production (4 Weeks prior to customers scheduled due date)

Now it’s time for the fun to begin! Your garment(s) will now be graded creating all of the sizes needed, along with cutting, sewing and adding any embellishments to your design. Please feel free to contact us should you have any questions.

Finalizing Garments and Payment (1 Weeks prior to customers scheduled due date)

The remaining balance is due when your garment or group is ready to be picked up or shipped. We will provide you with care instructions for your garments and are happy to answer any questions that may arise. Thank you as we greatly appreciate your business!
